Cross-Straits Information Website Inaugurated
A new net information service with the website address of http://www.huaxia.com was launched Sunday in Beijing.
The newly-opened online service is operated by the Huaxia Jingwei Information Science and Technology Co. Ltd.
Sources from the company said that they release information through 7 channels of 48 sub-items every day, featuring news across the Taiwan Straits, Outlook into China, A Window on Taiwan, Focus on the Taiwan Straits, Exchanges, Hotline Service and Cultural Corridor.
A company executive pledged that they would use the online service to provide people from both sides of the Taiwan Straits with consulting services ranging from laws, medicines, search for long-lost relatives or roots, advanced studies, employment, to economy and trade.
He added that full support from organizations engaging in Taiwan affairs across the country made it possible to launch the new online service.
