China First Management Science Academy Founded
The Tianjin Academy of Management Science, the first of its kind in China, was founded in Nankai University in this municipality Saturday.
The academy will mainly engage in consultation, training and foreign exchanges to push cooperation on management science between institutes, universities and enterprises and promote development of management science, sources said.
It will also join the efforts to found a national academy of management science of China.
Chen Xiaotian, deputy director of management science department of the China Natural Science Foundation said the science is still new in the country and effective measures are necessary to promote its development.
