10 People Killed in Argentina Air Crash

Ten people, including the head of the Argentine industrial group Techint, Agostino Rocca, died on Saturday in an air crash in the Buenos Aires province, Argentinaa.

According to Argentine police, the accident occurred in Roque Perez, some 150 kilometers southwest of Buenos Aires, capital of Brazil, when the Cessna 209 light airplane tried to perform an emergency landing.

The plane took off from the San Fernando airport, 30 kilometers north of Buenos Aires, on a flight to the Patagonia locality of Trelew, 1,000 kilometers south of the Argentine capital, according to a statement issued by the Argentinian Air Force.
