Macao to Issue New StampsThe Postal Services of China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) will begin issuing a set of stamps featuring fire brigade as of May 2.
The set includes four stamps bearing the face value of 1.5 patacas (18.75 U.S. cents), 2.5 patacas, 3 patacas and 4 patacas. A total of 750,000 sets will be issued, officials of the Postal Services said at a press conference Friday.
Other postal products such as souvenir sheet, first-day cover and introduction paper will be available at the same time.
It will be the fifth set of stamps for the year 2001. The Postal Services plans to issue 12 sets in the whole year.
