China Northern Airlines Opens Shenyang-Pusan Air Route
A new air route linking Shenyang, capital of northeast China's
Liaoning
Province, and Pusan, a port city in the Republic of Korea (
ROK
), will begin operation on May 30, according to an announcement by China Northern Airlines on Thursday.
There will be return flights between the two cities every Wednesday and Saturday. Two more flights a week will be added during the tourist season from June 16 to August 31, according to the airline company.
China Northern Airlines has opened regular air routes to Seoul and Chongju in the Republic of Korea, and Pyongyang, capital of Democratic People's Republic of Korea to meet the need of increasing tourists from China to the Korean Peninsula.
