SAT Publicized 7 Cases Involving Tax Evasion

State Administration of Taxation exposed seven cases of tax evasion in Beijing on April 24.

The seven cases include tax dodging and evasion, false invoicing for value-added tax and buying value-added tax invoice by way of deception.

To do it like this is on the one hand for enhancing the people's awareness of tax payment and warning crimes involving taxes to create a better social environment for tax collection in accordance with laws. And on the other for strengthening social supervision over the law execution on taxation, noted Jin Renqing, director of SAT.

It's reported that due to the varied means of tax dodging and evasion in recent years, the State has suffered serious losses in tax-collection, which has disrupted the economic order of the State as well as the principle of fair competition.
