Heilongjiang Building Science, Technology Exhibition CenterConstruction of the Heilingjiang Provincial Science and Technology Exhibition Center has started in this capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.Upon completion, the center will become the biggest facility to spread the knowledge of science and technology. The center will be completed at a total cost of 285 million yuan. It will cover an area of 50,000 square meters and have a floor space of 25,000 square meters. It is scheduled to open in October next year. Facilities of the center will include a permanent exhibition hall, special-purpose exhibition halls and a multi-functional report hall. On display will be exhibits of 20 categories of basic sciences and applied technology. It will become a major science facility integrating exhibition, demonstration, training in science and technology, collections, and scientific and technological exchanges and services. With a unique design, the center will become a symbolic building in Harbin, Heilingjiang Province. |
