Inter-Korean Trade Hit 76 Million Dollars
Inter-Korean trade amounted to 76.6 million US dollars in the first quarter of this year, according to a report released by the Unification Ministry Wednesday.
Processing trade rose by 23.1 percent to 24.3 million dollars and commercial transactions accounted for 56.8 percent of the total money flow between the two sides.
Meanwhile, non-commercial transactions surged 63 percent to 43. 2 million dollars due to assistance including medicine, agricultural products and garments from South Korean civic organizations to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (
DPRK
).
