The Marco Polo Award Foundation plans to set up a WTO-China Forum to help Sino-foreign exchange in this field.
Liu Ming, president of the foundation, said with the coming of China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO), China needs to strengthen cooperation with WTO members and training of personnel with internationally acknowledged standards.
According to Liu, the forum will include professional exchange, training and research programs. Marco Polo Award will try to invite international experts and entrepreneurs to China to attend the forum.
Tianjin government is now discussing with the foundation about the details of implementing the programs. Other cities, including Beijing and Xi'an, will also participate in the programs.
