Venezuelan Deputy Oil Minister Sees End of Year OPEC Output Increase
OPEC may increase production in the fourth quarter of this year as international oil demand picks up during colder weather and a possible world economic recovery, according to
Venezuela
's deputy oil minister Tuesday.
He said that there was a prospect of an increase by the end of the year.
OPEC has twice cut production this year by a total of 2.5 million dlrs a day. But talk of a third cut during OPEC's June 5 meeting in Vienna persists.
