China's Largest B2B Washing Machine Base Built

The first group of made-to-order products rolled off the production line last week in Hefei, capital of Anhui province, signaling the completion of China's largest business to business (B2B) made-to-order production base.

The products are Haier brand washing machines ready for export to the United States

Made-to-order products are believed to represent the future trend for production as the Internet makes B2B an important mode for E-business in the new economy.

Haier has already received many orders for made-to-order washing machines.

Haier plans to set up seven production bases around the globe, four of which have already been completed in Qingdao, Shunde, Hefei and Iran.

Some 36 percent of Haier washing machines are exported to overseas countries.
