Shenyang to Attract Foreign Investors, ProfessionalsThe government of Shenyang City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, has formulated preferential measures to woo foreign investors and overseas high-tech professionals.High-tech engineers and senior managers who are undertaking key projects in Shenyang or who are high-tech returned professionals, can, by submitting related certificates and documents to the government, apply for permits for temporary residence of one year to five years, as well as multi-entry visas. The measure also applies to professionals involved in inter-governmental aid projects and to foreign business people making an investment of five million US dollars or more in the city. In addition, qualification for permanent residence can be granted to those who have made great contributions to the city's economic construction and those making a huge sum of investment in Shenyang. |
