China Makes It Two Straight in Table Tennis Worlds

Defending champion China clinched its second straight win in the women's team event of the World Table Tennis Championships Tuesday in Osaka.

Olympic dual champion Wang Nan dropped a set in her 19-21, 21- 13, 21-11 win over Lithuania's top player Jolanta Prusiene.

World number three Zhang Yining followed up with an easy 21-7, 21-8 victory over Ruta Garkauskaite-Budene.

Chinese Fast-attacker Yang Ying breezed past Inga Kardauskaite 21-13, 21-10.

World number two Li Ju, who dropped a set in China's 3-0 blanking of Canada on Monday, was benched.

China is bidding for its 14th women's team title and fifth straight.
