An international forum on porcelain art opened Monday in Zibo city, in east China's Shandong Province.
Over 50 porcelain artists from the United States, Canada, Australia, Finland, the Republic of Korea and China will deliberate on the future of the art in the 21st century and other relevant issues during the two-day event.
The forum is jointly sponsored by the China Association of Porcelain and the government of Zibo city.
Zibo is one of the largest porcelain producers in China. Its 320 porcelain factories now employ 88,000 people and export their products to over 70 countries and regions worldwide.
