Sino-Foreign JV Law Amendments Published
A State Council decision to revise the "Detailed Regulations on the Implementation of the Law on Sino-Foreign Joint Ventures" was made public Monday.
On April 12, Premier
Zhu Rongji
signed a decree ordering that the amended rules go into effect forthwith.
The revision was made to meet the demands of the new situation of China's opening to the rest of the world and in accordance with a resolution of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on the revision of the law, according to the State Council decision.
Sixteen major amendments have been made to the law.
