State Councilor Meets Togo Women's Delegation
State Councilor Wu Yi met with a women's delegation of Togo headed by Togolese first lady Badagnaki Eyadema Monday.
Wu, who is also director of the Women and Children Work Committee of the State Council, extended a warm welcome to the delegation.
She said China and Togo have always supported and assisted each other in world affairs, thus establishing good cooperative friendship. Meanwhile, the two governments have greatly promoted the friendly contacts between women of both countries.
Eyadema expressed appreciation over China's considerable changes since its reform and opening up as well as Chinese women's contribution to the country's economic development.
