China Issues 20b Book-entry T Bonds
The Ministry of Finance started floating this year's second-issue book-entry treasury bonds (T bonds) on Friday.
With a size of 20 billion yuan, the T bonds target institutional investors on the inter-bank bonds market.
The bonds have a maturity of three years with interest paid on a yearly basis.
It is learnt altogether 54 underwriting groups had participated in the bid with a total valid bidding amount of 34.17 billion yuan.
The bonds began bearing interest as of April 20.
