German Federal Assembly Delegation Visits Macao
A six-member delegation led by Herman Otto Solms, vice-president of the German Federal Assembly, visited China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Sunday.
This is the first time for Macao to play host to a parliament delegation from a western country since it returned to the motherland on December 20, 1999.
The German guests visited the building of Macao Legislative Council, accompanied by Susana Chou, president of the council. The two sides exchanged views on legislative work.
The delegation will return to Hong Kong after visiting some scenic spots in the afternoon.
