Chinese Sharpshooters Finish Atop Medal TallyDespite a lonely third-place finish on Saturday, the Chinese sharpshooters had the best reap of two golds, three silvers and two bronzes from the ISSF World Cup Shooting which concluded its six-day competitions.Against a field of 266 competitors from 43 countries and regions, the Chinese stood stop the medal tally, beating Germany to second on two golds, one silver and one bronze, and Berarus to third on one gold and three silvers, while South Korea only finished fourth with one gold and two bronzes. "We feel OK with the performances of our players concerning the medal table," said Xu Haifeng, chief coach of the Chinese shooting team, "Yet, we still have a lot to improve in our future training in order to achieve steady show-off in the competitions." Chinese Tao Luna scored the most of two gold medals from the women's air pistol and sports pistol, while her women teammate Gao Jing, Chen Ying and Zhao Yinghui each pocketed a silver from air rifle, sports pistol and sports rifle respectively, with the other two bronzes for China coming from its men shooters. The last-day titles went to Argentine Daniel Felizia in the 25m rapid fire pistol with 688.6 points, and Jozef Gonci of Slovakia in the 50m rifle 3-position with 1,272.9 points.
