Association for Promoting Peaceful Reunification of China in Cambodia Set Up
The Association for Promoting Peaceful Reunification of China in Cambodia has been established In Phnom Penh Saturday.
The regulation of the association says that it has recognized that "There is only one China in the world". The association is aiming to unite overseas Chinese in Cambodia to oppose the attempt for Taiwan independence and splitting China so as to make contributions to the realization of peaceful reunification of China.
It stresses that acceleration of the peaceful reunification of China is a common wish of all Chinese in Mainland China and Taiwan as well as overseas Chinese around the world. The reunification of Mainland China and Taiwan will benefit the world peace and the development of China.
The association will be engaged in exploring the ways and means to promote the reunification. It will launch activities based on carrying forward the Chinese national culture and traditions in order to enhance mutual understanding among the Chinese people from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, and overseas Chinese in Cambodia and the rest of the world.
