Chinese Premier Meets ROK Presidential Special Envoy
Premier
Zhu Rongji
met Friday morning with Yang Seung-Taik, the special envoy of the President of the Republic of Korea (
ROK
) and the Information and Communication Minister.
Zhu briefed Yang on China's information industry at his request. The two sides also exchanged views on the cooperation in the area of mobile communications between the two countries.
Yang extended a letter by President Kim Dae-Jung to Zhu and thanked the Chinese government's support in promoting the cooperation between the enterprises of the two countries in mobile communications.
