Second Board Market to Be Launched Soon: Vice-Premier
China is now making great efforts to launch the second board market in order to create sound environment and conditions for the financing of hi-tech enterprises, Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo made the remark on the 2001 China Business Summit opened Wednesday. He believes that the second board will be launched soon.
On the issue concerning the listing of joint-venture enterprises, Wu said there are already joint-venture enterprises having got listed in the mainland, and meanwhile, some Chinese enterprises have got listed overseas. The general orientation of China's policy is to grant national treatment to all the domestic and foreign enterprises, and the policy regarding the listing of foreign-funded enterprises will gradually be relaxed, Wu said.
