7th China International Machine Tool Show Opens
China International Machine Tool Show, one of the world's four major fairs of this kind, opened at China International Exhibition Center Thursday, the seventh ever held in Beijing.
The show attracts over 1,000 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions to the 70,000-square-meter exhibition area, highlighting the best high-tech machine tools and top-notch machine tool manufacturers from across the world.
Organizers say the exhibition will create more favorable opportunities for the participants.
In line with China's strategy to develop its less developed western region, the show also aims to provide state-of-the-art machine tool products and technologies for the region, and offer opportunities for international cooperation.
The show has been held every two years since 1989. This year's show, organized by the China Machine Tool Industrial Association, will run through April 25.
