Machinery, Electronic Products Hot on Guangzhou Fair
Up until April 17, export deals involving machinery and electronic products reached some 797.2 million US dollars on the ongoing 89th Guangzhou Export Commodity Fair, which started here on April 15.
Statistics showed that the export of machinery and electronic products accounted for 46.6 percent of the three-day transaction total of some 1.72 US dollars.
Home electrical appliance ranked first among the hotly traded category of machinery and electronic products, with deals totaling 357.5 million US dollars, up 54.4 percent compared to the fair last year.
Machinery and equipment witnessed an export of 72.61 million US dollars during the first three days.
Export markets for machinery and electronic products include the European Union, Southeast Asian countries, the United States, Hong Kong and Macao.
