Chinese President Concludes Latin America Tour
Chinese President Jiang Zemin ended his state visit to Venezuela, the last leg of his six-nation tour of Latin America.
Venezuelan President Hugo Rafael Chavez held a ceremony to see President Jiang off at the airport.
Chinese Ambassador to Venezuela Wang Zhen and representatives of Chinese residing here also saw President Jiang and his entourage off at the airport.
During his 13-day Latin America tour, Jiang visited Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Cuba and Venezuela, and discussed major bilateral and international issues with the leaders of the six countries.
