CPC Delegation Leaves for Vietnam

A delegation from the Communist Party of China (CPC) left here Wednesday morning by special plane for Vietnamese Capital Hanoi to attend the 9th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) which is scheduled to open on April 19

The delegation, headed by Hu Jintao, a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and also Chinese vice-president, is as guests of the CPV Central Committee.

The delegation includes Dai Bingguo, member and the International Department head of the CPC Central Committee, and Ling Jihua, deputy director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee.

Among those who saw the delegation off at the Great Hall of the People here were member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice-Premier Wen Jiabao, Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee Wang Gang, Minister in charge of the Central Foreign Affairs Office Liu Huaqiu, Deputy Head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee Wang Jiarui, Vice-Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and charge d'affaires of Vietnamese Embassy to China Nguyen Ba Cu.
