China Concerns Over Tension in Israel-Lebanon Border Region

China is concerned over the tension built anew recently in the border region between Israel and Lebanon, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said Tuesday at the regular press conference.

China appeals that Israel immediately cease its infringement upon Lebanon's sovereignty, said Zhang, adding that China hopes that parties concerned take effective measures to maintain the hard-won safe and stable environment in the region.
