Israeli Missiles Hit Headquarters of Arafat's Personal Guards
Three missiles fired by
Israel
i helicopter gunships and warplanes Monday night hit the headquarters of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's personal guards, Force 17, in Gaza, injuring at least two people, sources here said.
The sources said that Israel also launched ground military operations against Palestinians at the same time.
The Israeli attacks came in response to an earlier Palestinian mortar shelling of an Israeli urban residential center northeast of Gaza.
