Chinese Military Delegation Leaves for UkraineA Chinese military delegation left Sunday on an official friendly visit to Ukraine as guest of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.The delegation, headed by General Cao Gangchuan, member of China's Central Military Commission and director of the General Armament Department (GAD) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), consists of Major General Li Andong, deputy director of the GAD, and Zhang Weimin, vice-minister of Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. Officials from the GAD and Defense Ministry, as well as the Ukrainian Embassy in Beijing went to see the delegation off at the airport. |
