Innovation Week Scheduled for Chinese Ph.Ds Abroad

A special innovation week is scheduled to be held in Qingdao and Weihai cities in east China's Shandong Province on April 26-29 for Chinese professionals with doctorate degrees to look for business opportunities.

During the innovation week, local universities, research institutes, and enterprises will offer a variety of positions and projects to participants from abroad.

Sources with the organizing committee said the projects will cover such areas as information technology, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, and agriculture.

A series of forums and lectures as well as business talks will be staged during the innovation week.

So far more than 120 Chinese who got their doctorate degrees abroad have registered to take part in the event.
