China, Cuba Sign Series of Cooperative Documents
China and Cuba Friday signed a number of documents during Chinese President Jiang Zemin's visit.

Senior officials of the two countries signed inter-governmental agreements on economic and technological cooperation, prevention of dual income tax levy and tax evasion, marine transport, as well as education and sports exchanges.

China Import and Export Bank also signed documents with the Cuban side to provide buyer's credit or preferential loan for three Chinese companies on telecom network construction, color TV export and the construction of a hotel here.

Jiang and Fidel Castro, president of Cuban Council of State, attended the signing ceremony.

Jiang was here for a state visit as guest of Castro.
