Qi Hui Breaks Swimming World Record
Qi hui set a new world record in the women's 200 meters breaststroke Friday night at the finals of the China Swimming Championship.
Qi hui clocked 2 minutes 22.99 seconds to beat the previous record of 2:23.64 set by Penny Heyns of
South Africa
at August, 1999.
Qi, the world record holder of short course women's 200 meters breaststroke, finished fourth at Sydney Olympic Games on this event.
