The exposition, co-sponsored by the city and the Ministry of Construction, will include three major parts, the province, the country, and the world, respectively. Special areas will be set up for tourism, trade and restaurants.

Cultural activities centered on flowers will be held during the exhibition, the largest of its kind in the city.

All the exhibits will have to pass checks by local quarantine authorities to prevent harmful species and diseases from entering China.
