China to Hold Commercial Investment, Cooperation Project Exhibition
The first China Commercial Investment and Cooperation Project Exhibition is to be held in late October this year in Beijing.
The exhibition will focus on the projects of member enterprises.
During the exhibition, the "China Commercial Investment Summit" will be held. Domestic and foreign experts, scholars, officials and businessmen will be invited to discuss important issues in commercial investment areas.
"After its entry into the WTO, China will open the wholesale and retail industries. Many domestic and foreign investors hope to grasp this chance. Meanwhile, domestic commercial enterprises also need to make structural adjustments, asset reallocations and innovations to upgrade their competence. The exhibition will take advantage of this opportunity to provide such a platform for direct exchange between domestic and foreign investors and capital introducers," said an official from the organizing group, the China General Chamber of Commerce.
