A survey titled "Asian media in HK people's eyes" was carried out recently by Hong Kong University entrusted by Hong Kong Broadcast Station.

According to the results, nearly half of those surveyed are satisfied with the general behavior of Hong Kong media. They say Hong Kong media enjoys the largest freedom in Asia, but behaves only ordinarily in terms of the sense of responsibility and trust worthiness, ranking behind Japan and Singapore.

During the process of the survey, staff of the Public Opinion Research Program of Hong Kong University called on 1039 citizens by phones and asked them to evaluate the behavior of the local newspapers, magazines, TV and broadcast stations.
