China Mobile (HK) Reaped 18b Yuan of Net Profit Last Year

According to the business result in 2000 published by China Mobile (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd, by the end of last year, the company has realized an operating income of RMB 65 billion, increasing by 68 percent from the previous year; the net profit has reached RMB18 billion, up 276 percent year-on-year; the profit per share was RMB 1.25 percent, growing by 213 percent.

The company has successfully issued new shares and transferable bills on the international capital market, raising US$ 7.555 billion. It has also got a huge amount of consortium loan in the mainland and raised RMB 12.5 billion.
