Guangzhou Honda's New Accord Debuts
A new type of Accord (3.0L/V6) manufactured by Guangzhou Honda Automotive Co. Ltd. rolled off the production line Tuesday.
The accord is the third in Guangzhou Honda's Accord series following a 2.3L model in 1999 and a 2.0L type in 2000.
In 2001, the company plans to manufacture 5,000 of the new 3.0L model, accounting for one tenth of the year's total production.
According to figures provided by the company, Guangzhou Honda won a 29.8 percent share of the more expensive car market in China in the first three months of the year.
In the first three months of this year, 39,710 cars, priced at 200,000 yuan or above, were sold in China.
