Pakistan Foreign Minister to Visit China
Foreign Minister Mian Abdul Sattar Laleka of the Islamic Republic of
Pakistan
will pay an official visit to China from April 16 to 19 at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan.
Chinese Foreign Ministry
spokesman Sun Yuxi made the announcement at a press conference Tuesday.
Sun said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, and Sattar's visit to China is an important part of the activities marking the establishment of such relations.
The Chinese side believes the existing good-neighborly relations and cooperation between the two countries will be further consolidated and developed, he said.
