First Quarter Sample Survey Result Unveiled
The State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision announced the result of first quarter sample survey of this year on April 9. Among the 2087 surveyed products of 1627 enterprises, 1597, or 76.5 percent, are acknowledged qualified products.
Three types of products -- sewage treatment facility, tire and automobile head light--- reach a 100 percent pass rate; four others including agricultural machinery fittings, fixed lamps, only reached a pass rate lower than 60 percent.
The sample survey this time has the following features: First, consumer goods closely related to people's livelihood account for 40 percent of the sampled total; second, means of agricultural production continued to be listed as one of the focal points for the sample survey; and third, the circulation field was taken as an important aspect of the product quality sampled.
