Don King Scheduled His Beijing Tour in Later Half of April
Evander Holyfield's promoter Don King will begin his China familiarization tour in the last ten days of April for the Boxing Championship between Holyfield and Carl Lewis, which is scheduled on August 5, as learned from Great-wall International Sports Media Co Ltd (Great-wall).
Both Holyfield and Lewis expressed their strong desire for visiting China with Don King. The Great-wall Company will first send an invitation letter to Holyfield.
As reported, Mr. King will be accompanied by a team of his assistants, officials, and president of the World Boxing Association (WBA), to make preparation for the upcoming Boxing Championships and go over a series of issues concerning the venue (Beijing Capital Gymnasium), reception, TV broadcasting, etc.
