Israeli Forces Fire Rockets at Palestinian Targets in Gaza

Israeli forces fired rockets at two Palestinian police stations and an office of the Palestinian mainstream Fatah movement in northern Gaza Sunday evening, injuring four civilians.

According to a Palestinian security source, four ground-to- ground rockets were fired from inside the pre-1967 Green Line at police station and the Fatah office in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip, only two of them exploded.

Another Palestinian police station in Nousiarat in central Gaza was also hit, causing damage to its building, said Saeb Elago, an official of Palestinian security forces.

At meantime, an Israeli spokesman said that the attack was in response to Palestinian mortar attacks on Israeli targets.
