Briton Arrested in Malaysian Military Compound: Foreign Office
Britain's foreign office said on April 7 that a British man had been arrested in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, after being found in a military compound.
A spokeswoman confirmed to Xinhua that the 32-year-old man, who had been carrying a camera, was seized on Friday at the Malaysian Armed Forces Museum.
The British High Commissioner in Malaysia was in touch with the authorities there over the man's arrest and was trying to make contact with him, the spokeswoman said.
"We will not confirm his name or where he is from until his relatives has been informed," she added.
