Famous Italian Designer to Debut in Shanghai

Gianfranco Ferre, a world-famous Italian designer, will attend the forthcoming Shanghai International Fashion Festival late this month and formally introduce his new series of fashion for the Autumn and Winter seasons.

Ferre will also have a grand fashion show staged for the opening ceremony.

Being delicate and elegant, yet also wild, his series for Autumn and Winter is valued at about two million U.S. dollars.

Ferre, who used to be a long-term chief designer for Christian Dior and has opened hundreds of branches around the globe, will be responsible for the stage designing himself.

Along with Ferre, other famous designers, like Frenchmen Daniel Tribouillard, are coming to the festival.
