Cambodia to Hold Its First Chess Tournament in Two Decades
Cambodia
will hold its first national chess championship in more than 25 years, according to local reports on Friday.
Cambodia Daily quoted organizer of the tournament Khan Sovan as saying that forty contestants aged 20 to 60 will attend the tournament, which is scheduled to run Saturday through Monday at the Cobra II beer garden in Kien Svay district east of Phnom Penh.
