University Enrollment Qualification Set Free

The Ministry of Education has lately announced that the college enrollment qualification will be further loosened. The limitation on marriage status and age will be cancelled with permissions given to the latest graduates of medium-level vocational training schools to sit examination for entrance of high-level vocational schools as well as general colleges and universities in the same year.

The Ministry of Education reiterates that the colleges and universities must not impose restrictions on foreign language for examinees to be tested this year. The colleges and universities are also asked to carry out the job-directional agreement when they make the plan of enrollment on job-directional students, to ensure the recruitment being oriented to all qualified examinees.

In view of the cheat in college entrance examination and fake recommendable students as occurred last year, all colleges and universities, their enrollment committees and educational organs are requested by the Ministry of Education to make an overall and careful check on current procedures for enrollment and examination. And they are asked to put forward new methods on improving the recruitment management, making it more fair, square, and transparent.
