Shanghai VW Adds New Model to Santana Family
Shanghai Volkswagen Corp has lately unveiled its Santana 2000 GLI, adding one more choice to Santana lovers.
The designing of the new model was based on 99's Santana with more attention paid to safety and environmental protection. The adoption of a new ABS system from Germany has greatly strengthened the safety of the car with brake lights raised high to make the sedan safer. The engine controller software was upgraded to meet the European II discharge standard.
The 2000 GLI is designed to save more gas to meet the needs of the Chinese consumers. Modified seats also make the sedan more spacious and comfortable.
The new model, as reported, is priced at 128,000 yuan.
