Fire crews and ground staff at Canberra Airport were alerted, but the plane landed safely. Passengers aboard the flight have reported seeing smoke, but the Australian Defence Force denies there was any fire in the engine. A Defence spokesman says the jet was shut down as a precautionary measure and the minor fault has already been repaired. |
