Kazakhstan Train Attendant Arrested for Possessing Heroin
Chinese customs officials have arrested a
Kazakhstan
train attendant suspected of carrying 2.95 kilograms of heroin in his luggage.
According to officials at Alataw Shankou customs in the
Xinjiang
Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China, they found the heroin during a routine inspection of the No.896 international passenger train from Alma-ata to Urumqi.
The case is under further investigation.
