The statement criticized the United Nations for failing to adopt a resolution on sending an international force to protect the Palestinians. It also expressed the regret of Muslim organizations and communities at the U.S. veto over the U.N. draft resolution. Meanwhile, the MWL urged the U.N. and the U.N. Security Council to condemn the Israeli crimes and take effective steps to prevent Israel from continuing its aggressions against the Palestinians. The organization also called for the international community to show credibility in defending the Palestinian people in line with international laws. |
