Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo Meets Sudanese Vice-PresidentVice-Premier Wu Bangguo said Friday that China and Sudan will deepen their mutually beneficial cooperation in the economic and trade sectors in the new century.Wu made the remarks during a meeting with visiting Sudanese First Vice President Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, who arrived Thursday for a five-day official visit to China as a guest of Chinese Vice-President Hu Jintao. Wu said China and Sudan are highly complementary in the economic and trade sectors as China has a broad market and relatively advanced technology while Sudan has abundant natural resources. The two countries have had good cooperation in the sector of oil industry, Wu said. Taha said the Sudanese Government is satisfied with the cooperation with China in the oil sector. He said the cooperation has not only benefited the two countries economically, but has also set an example for the cooperation between developing nations. The vice-president said Sudan will enhance cooperation with China in the oil sector and in the sector of science and technology.
